Izzi Styx is a band formed by three musicians of different ages and styles to try and get a new sound. Dustin Hilton, an 18 yr old graduate of Lebanon High on rhythm and lead guitar has a style some refer to as "classic rock riffs on steroids"; his unique style brings a sharpness to the music.
Brandon Cole from Bristol TN, a 30 yr old guitarist, vocalist, and bass player
, is rooted in the styles of Alice Cooper, Kiss, ACDC, and the Stones. He brings a solid strong bass line to the music and adds a classic sound to the combo.
Jeff Meade, a 40 yr old drummer and vocalist, has played with several different bands in the area over the past 20 years. He is rooted in the classic southern rock sounds of bands like Molly Hatchet, Lynrd Skynrd, and ZZ Top.
With different backgrounds of the members we get a new fresh sound that is different yet familiar to all age groups.
