The band "Movin' On" was originally formed in 2003 and following a break of several years reformed in early 2009. The band operates from Bluff City, Tennessee just outside of Bristol .
The band is a three piece band that is-not shy-about performing material from artists with many more members (e.g. Styx, Lynyrd Skynyrd, REO Speedwagon, et al). This requires a degree of originality when arranging the songs for three pieces. Scotty believes in performing songs by other artists as if he had written the songs himself and works closely with his band mates to ensure that the song arrangements are distinctive, yet faithful, to the originals.
Perry and Landon are creative in their performances and are a very competent rhythm section. All three members sing, however, Scotty and Landon handle the bulk of the vocals. The "Movin' On" band performs their material with quality and enthusiasm. They are an exciting band to see and hear perform.
