Bluefield, Virginia-based hard rock band, War Torn Angel, can best be described as a medley of hard-hitting riffs, pounding rhythms, shredding solos, and dynamic vocals. Featuring the six-string agility of Justin Shrewsberry, the fret board dexterity of Davey Nicewander, the riffing assault of Philip Cyrus, the unwavering instrumental groove of bassist Tanner Page, and the relentless thundering rhythms of Thomas Hayes, the musical backbone of War Torn Angel is an intimidating one.
With loads of inspiration behind them, lead vocalist Chad Cox and backing vocalist Josh Sawyers are a formidable and powerful force for the unique vocals of the band.
To be such a young group, the oldest member being 15, War Torn Angel is chock full of talent. Forming in the fall of 1008, the band was organized with the help of Stephen Campbell and Dwayne Nicewander, who have devoted their time to this musical effort. War Torn Angel is also currently working on a demo cd and it is set to be complete before the end of fall. With high goals and blazing ambition, War Torn Angel is ready to rock. You have been warned!
